EPQ

EPQ Silent Movie
This was inspired by Harold Lloyd and Charlie Chaplin, the main goal of this film was to force myself to edit my own film, I always stayed in my comfort zone, and decided to write scripts instead of filming and producing a piece, using Premiere Pro was a massive learning curve but one I can appreciate and hope to use more of.

Thanks to my friends for playing, 'The Unlucky Boy',' The Silly Villain' and 'The Terrible Boss'.

In my own time

I love drawing, the main reason I want to study Graphic Design at MMU is to learn the valuable  rules to design and to have the facilities to experiment to become a better designer. I also find it's best to work in an art environment because hopefully I'll be apart of the next generation of Graphic Designers who can help companies or individuals express themselves through design. I want to improve my skill set hugely, I want that to be in Manchester.

Graphics Project

Tested different colour variations, and saw what the app could potentially look like. Named the app Vital because basically some belongings to people when lost are vital to them.

App Concept- Vital

Logo sketches- Brief: Transform your life, focus on solving problems, Listen to the problem given to you.

Decided to create a concept for people who lose their belongings within Taxi firms & Clubs, because losing belongings is horrible.

Illustrated different logo's until I was happy with them.

Development- Creatures of The Night Project

Originally the Line-work was extremely messy, After asking people how to improve it, they suggested cleaning it up, I always wanted to work in Photoshop this piece drove me out of that habit, it made me learn new skills of transferring a drawing and scanning it within a software, then ultimately using anchor points and the pen tool to create what I wanted to see.

The work improved much more working with different software's.

CREATURES OF THE NIGHT

Creatures of The Night
Using Illustrator software I created this line art piece, Representing how technology keeps us up at night, also how games can cause frustrations and how humans are close to beasts if we have the drive of motivation and winning.

Album Printout

INSIDE- ALBUM

Album Cover

I created this using Photoshop, I cut out paper silhouettes of my friends, and used the shadows cast by them to create the dark effect. I enjoyed making this album cover because it allowed me to create paper cutouts which was hard but enjoyable. I also used a still camera on top of a tripod to create the background to capture someones movements but in a blurry motion. It was trial and error figuring out what settings the camera needed to be on.

Neeko The Knight

Neeko The Knight
Trying to make my character more lively by developing his personality. He's a playful character, does a lot wrong but achieves a lot by trying his best.

Project 1

This project required us working within teams to create a garment, which represented Consumerism. The Coffee cups represented how the surrounding plastic around coffee cups is the only recyclable thing, meaning the entirety of the cup still ends up in a landfill. We used different materials such as stirrers which we stained with coffee to give a nice effect, and clipped together Cafe Nero cups to make the dress wearable and represent Consumerism, to advertise this project individually we had to create a front cover. I designed mine using Photoshop, using different techniques to create certain aspects, this includes gradients, saturation, shape forms, transforming the image, to hopefully represent fashion in a new light.

Character Concepts

I created these development sketches on my Wacom Tablet, I tried to make the character express different emotions in a child friendly way. I enjoyed making these because creating suitable characters for children was out of my comfort zone.
